Azerbaijan discussed holding an event on the Renewable Energy Roadmaps for Eastern Partnership countries with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov wrote on X social network, Report informs.

The Azerbaijani delegation is taking part in the regional conference in Tbilisi on sustainable heat and energy saving in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) region, Report informs.

For the next report, the topic “Supporting the social and professional adaptation of internally displaced persons and mine victims affected by conflicts in Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries”, proposed by the delegations of Azerbaijan and Ukraine, was adopted by a majority vote.

Partnership countries, participation in the 14th session of the IRENA Assembly to be held in Abu Dhabi in April this year, as well as other issues of mutual interest.

"It is a fitting occasion to reiterate the EU’s commitment to strengthening our bilateral dialogue and our regional cooperation in all areas covered by the Eastern Partnership framework, including the principles of prosperity and good governance, for the benefit of all our citizens.

Furthermore, the Republic of Malta remains a steadfast supporter of the close and strategic partnership between the European Union and the Republic of Azerbaijan, also by means of regional dialogue frameworks such as the Eastern Partnership (EaP).
