Azerbaijan is not only a supplier of oil, gas and energy resources, but also an exporter of knowledge and experience, Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Ziba Mustafayeva said at the opening ceremony of the 19th Baku Summer Energy School (BSES 2025), held at ADA University.
Report quotes her as saying the summer energy school is one of the most successful initiatives within the framework of cooperation between SOCAR and ADA.
“For almost two decades, BSES has become a platform for the exchange of advanced ideas, combining academic theory with industry practice. For 19 years, the school has been bringing together leading scientists, experts and politicians from around the world to discuss key issues in the energy sector. The program contributes not only to the professional development of participants, but also to strengthening the international dialogue on energy policy and current challenges,” Mustafayeva emphasized.
She also noted that representatives from Europe, Asia and Africa participate in the school every year.
“The presence of participants from different regions highlights the growing role of Azerbaijan as an important center for global dialogue on energy security and sustainable use of resources,” the SOCAR vice president added.
