The Russian Federation won’t deliver oil to countries that have joined the price cap, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, Report informs referring to Russian media.
“We have repeatedly said that the introduction of the so-called price ceiling for Russian oil is an anti-market measure. It disrupts supply chains and can significantly complicate the situation on global energy markets. Russia does not plan to supply oil to countries that will join the cartel of buyers,” she said.
The European Commission proposed to set the price of Russian oil at $65 per barrel. Representatives of the European countries from morning until late at night discussed the maximum level of the price ceiling, but could not agree on it.
