Volume of oil transportation via BTC reaches 4.3 billion barrels

The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline has transported 4.3 billion barrels of oil since it became operational, Colin Allan, bp’s vice president finance for the Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye (AGT) region, said at the SPE Annual Caspian Technical Conference held in Baku today, Report informs.
According to him, along with Azerbaijani oil, the pipeline also transported Turkmen oil during the reporting period.
The 1,768-kilometer pipeline was put into operation on July 13, 2006.
