Turkiye in talks with Russia on additional gas supplies

Moscow and Ankara are negotiating additional gas supplies to Turkiye. If prices are agreed, deliveries will begin, Report informs referring to A Haber TV channel.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that if Turkiye asks for an increase in energy supplies, Russia will provide it. The approximate volume of deliveries of Russian energy sources to the country is about 26 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
In addition, Turkiye has completely filled its gas storage facilities. The capacity of the Silivri storage facility was increased from 3.2 billion cubic meters to 4.6 billion cubic meters. Turkiye’s two underground gas storage facilities will store a total of 5.6 billion cubic meters.
