Turkish ship Abdulhamid Han drilling in Mediterranean

The Turkish drilling vessel Abdulhamid Han has started work on the Tasucu-1 site in the Eastern Mediterranean, according to the state-owned company TPAO, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
“We continue to work for the sake of Turkiye’s energy independence and strengthening the positions of the country,” TPAO tweeted.
Abdulhamid Han is the fourth and most modern vessel in the drilling fleet of Turkiye.
The seventh-generation vessel with two turrets is 238 meters long and 42 meters wide.
The drilling vessel has a staff of 200 people. The vessel carries out drilling to a depth of 12,200 meters.
