Ertuğrul Gazi, the first floating LNG storage and gasification vessel in Turkish maritime history, has arrived in the country, Report states, citing Anadolu.
"The ship was stationed at the BOTAS Dortyol Terminal in Hatay. Our ship, which will be commissioned after the test procedures, will contribute to the security of our country's natural gas supply," said Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez.
The vessel was built in South Korea last year, and Ertuğrul Gazi is one of the world's largest ships with a daily gasification capacity of 28 million cubic meters. It is 295 meters long, 46 meters wide, and 63 meters high. The ship's LNG storage capacity is 170,000 cubic meters.
