STAR Refinery’s LPG output drops by nearly 44%

The STAR Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced 8,282 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in June 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulation Authority (EMRA).
Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, this is a decline of 43.8 percent, or 6,459 tons.
Overall, 84,235 tons of LPG were produced by oil refineries in Türkiye in June 2024, which is 903 tons, or 1.09%, more than in June 2023.
