STAR Refinery reduces diesel fuel output

The STAR Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced 376,332 tons of diesel fuel in July 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulation Authority (EMRA).
Compared to the corresponding month in 2023, the production dropped by 161,747 tons or 30.1%.
Overall, Türkiye’s oil refineries produced over 1.346 million tons of diesel fuel in July 2024, which is an increase of 34,556 tons or 2.64% less year-on-year.
