STAR Refinery reduces aviation fuel production by over 6%

The STAR refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced more than 112,542 tons of kerosene (aviation fuel) for jet engines in June 2024, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
EMRA’s data shows that this is a decrease of 8,066 tons or 6.65% compared to the same month in 2023.
Overall, Türkiye’s oil refineries produced more than 567,711 tons of kerosene for jet engines in June 2024, representing an increase of 34,010 tons, or 6.38% year-on-year.
