STAR refinery increases jet fuel production almost twofold

In August of this year, STAR oil refinery, the asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), produced 131,727 tons of jet fuel for reactive engines, up 71,295 tons or 1.81-fold from August, 2021, Report informs, citing Turkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
In all, the oil refineries of Turkiye produced 501,353 tons of jet fuel for reactive engines in August, up 103,883 tons or 26.1% from August 2021.
In August 2021, the STAR oil refinery produced nearly 72,778 tons of jet fuel for reactive engines.
