STAR Refinery decreases crude oil imports by about 17%

STAR Refinery, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkiye, imported 821,844 tons of crude oil in October 2022, down 165,776 tons or 16.8% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
The refinery imported 987,620 tons of crude oil in October 2021.
In the reporting period, Turkiye-based refineries imported 2,884,087 tons of crude oil in total, up 9,113 tons, or 0.31%, from the previous year.
