STAR oil refinery sees 15% drop in petroleum coke output

In March 2024, the STAR Oil Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced about 66,175 tons of petroleum coke, 11,919 tons, or 15.3% less compared to the same period in 2023, Report informs, citing the Turkish Energy Market Regulation Authority (EMRA).
Overall, oil refineries in Türkiye produced nearly 70,987 tons of petroleum coke in March 2024, which is 85,189 tons, or 2.2-fold less than in March 2023.
