SOCAR, US-based Emerson Electric discuss cooperation on renewable energy

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and American company Emerson Electric Co. discussed cooperation opportunities in renewable energy projects, Report informs.
According to SOCAR, the discussions took place during a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Emerson Electric Co. President for the European region John Nita.
The meeting also addressed issues related to digitalization and automation in the oil and gas sector, along with the implementation of intelligent monitoring systems.
In addition, the sides discussed emissions reduction, improving energy efficiency, and applying sustainable technological solutions.
