In August 2021, SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Ukraine, imported 14,700 tons of aircraft fuel, A-95 Consulting Group said in a statement, Report informs, citing Ukrainian media.
According to the statement, 14,200 tons of the fuel were imported from Belarus, 500 tons from Lithuania.
Import of aviation fuel from foreign countries to Ukraine tripled to 37,400 tons in August.
Lithuania exported 5,400 tons of aircraft fuel to Ukraine, 36% more than a year earlier.
In the reporting period, Ukraine imported 27,600 tons of aviation fuel from Belarus, 4,400 tons from Greece.
In January-August, Ukraine imported 89,600 tons of jet fuel, up 21% from the previous year.
Lithuania exported 31,800 tons of aircraft fuel to Ukraine during the reporting period, down 30% from a year earlier. From Belarus, the import of aviation fuel quadrupled to 42,300 tons.
