SOCAR subsidiaries in Turkey receive awards

Subsidiaries of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkey - STAR refinery and SOCAR Petrol Ticaret – have received awards, Report informs referring to foreign media.
The awards were presented by the Istanbul Chemical Exporters Association. SOCAR Petrol Ticaret took the first place, and STAR refinery took the second place in the Stars of Export 2021 competition.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, SOCAR companies in Turkey achieved successful results, continued production and sales, and supported the export of local producers.
SOCAR started operation in Turkey in 2008, having bought a 51% stake in the Petkim petrochemical complex.
