SOCAR's subsidiary in Turkiye to cooperate with Uzbek company

SOCAR Turkiye, the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) subsidiary in Turkiye, will cooperate with Uzbekistan's state oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz, Report informs via the Turkish media.

According to the information, in September, the expert group of SOCAR Turkiye will visit Uzbekneftgaz and hold negotiations within the framework of the development of this cooperation.

The delegation of the Uzbek company visited SOCAR's oil refining and petrochemical facilities in Aliaga settlement of Izmir, Turkiye. During the meetings, mutual evaluations were conducted on asset management, labor protection and safety, technical services, digitization, value creation, and flexible transformation.

Before the visit of the Uzbek delegation to Turkiye, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf visited Uzbekneftegaz.

Within the cooperation program established between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, significant works are being done in tourism, industry, and economy.

After the cooperation document was signed between the two countries, Uzbekneftgaz started with a visit to SOCAR Turkiye. During the 3-day visit, officials of SOCAR Turkiye and Uzbekneftegaz Downstream company exchanged information and supported cooperation.
