SOCAR's subsidiary company imports about 73,000 tons of oil products

SOCAR Türkiye Petrol Ticaret A.S. (a subsidiary of SOCAR Türkiye Enerji) imported 72,867 tons of oil products in January-April 2024, which is 28.8% less year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Türkiye.

Over 68,472 tons of aviation fuel and 4,394 tons of marine fuel made up the imports.

During the reporting period, the share of the company in Türkiye’s total imports of oil and oil products was 0.46%.

During the same period, SOCAR Türkiye Petrol Ticaret A.S. exported 192,066 tons of petroleum products (3.63% of total exports of petroleum products from Türkiye”, including 169,809 tons of aviation fuel and 22,256 tons of marine fuel.

Compared to January-April 2024, the company reduced the export of oil products by 3.1%.
