SOCAR’s STAR Refinery increases diesel production by nearly 9%

STAR Oil Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Türkiye, produced 660,783 tons of diesel in December 2022, up 52,957 tons or 8.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

In total, Türkiye-based refineries produced 1,451,769 tons of diesel in December, down 170,540 tons or 10.51% from a year earlier.

The diesel production by the STAR Refinery made up 607,826 tons in December 2021.
