SOCAR’s STAR Refinery increases diesel production by 11%

The STAR Refinery, an asset of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkiye, produced 601,035 tons of diesel in April 2022, up 61,298 tons or 11.35% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.

As a whole, in April, the oil refineries in Turkiye produced 1,480,577 tons of diesel fuel, 37.591 tons or 2.6% more than a year earlier.

The Refinery’s diesel production in April 2021 was 539,717 tons.
