SOCAR refines over 1 million tons of oil this year 

During the first two months of 2022, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) refined 1.044 million tons of oil, up 11.3% from the previous year, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

In the same period of 2021, 937,900 tons of oil were refined.

During this period, the volume of petroleum bitumen obtained from oil refined by SOCAR increased by 64.3%, commercial butane by 59%, and heating oil by 8.1 times.

In January-February 2022, the production of RON 92 gasoline rose by 51.2%, jet fuel by 41.7%, and propane by 47.9%.

During this period, the production of atmospheric gasoil went up by 7.8 times compared to last year.
