SOCAR Polymer increases export earnings to 65%

In January 2022, SOCAR Polymer LLC, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), exported products worth $24.2 million, Report informs, citing the February issue of the Export Review of the Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication.
According to the review, this is $9.5 million or 64.6% more than in the same month of 2021.
SOCAR Polymer owns a Polypropylene Plant with an annual production capacity of 184,000 tons. The plant was inaugurated on June 18, 2018, with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Italy Sergio Mattarella. Exports of polypropylene began on October 5, 2018.
