SOCAR names directions of urea export

The carbamide plant of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 119,500 tons of urea products in 2020, Report informs referring to the company’s report for 2020.
Compared to 2019, this is a 30.2 percent decrease.
In 2020, the urea plant fulfilled the forecast task for carbamide production by 18.4 percent.
Of the urea products’ total volume, 109,900 tons were sold, which is 12.5 percent less than in the previous year.
Of these, 40,500 tons were sold on the domestic market (a 3.95 times growth), and 69,400 tons (-39.9 percent) were exported.
The main export destinations were Brazil, Moldova, Colombia, Turkey and Georgia.
