SOCAR, Mingachevir State University ink memorandum of co-op

Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR) and its partners - South Caucasus Pipeline Company and Mingachevir State University – have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, Report informs referring to SOCAR.

The Memorandum was signed by Executive Director of SOCAR Midstream Fuad Ahmadov and Rector of Mingachevir State University Shahin Bayramov.

Informing about the social projects of SOCAR Midstream in the field of education, Fuad Ahmadov noted that eight textbooks on economics, biology and chemistry have been translated into Azerbaijani. It was noted that the memorandum of understanding signed with the Mingachevir State University will support the sustainable development of Azerbaijan and the region in the transformation of oil capital into human capital.

Shahin Bayramov noted that cooperation with SOCAR Midstream will make an important contribution to the development of education, the training of high-level specialists that meet modern requirements.

The memorandum reflects the issues of cooperation between the Mingachevir State University and SOCAR Midstream in the field of modern educational programs, strengthening the existing potential and training highly qualified personnel.
