SOCAR might increase its presence in Pakistan

Possible participation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in the projects implemented in Pakistan were discussed today, Report informs, citing SOCAR.
The discussions were held in a meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and Pakistan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the upward trend of relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in various fields, including the energy sector.
During the talks, the current state of energy cooperation between the two countries was reviewed, as well as the continuation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies to Pakistan was discussed.
