SOCAR increases gas production by 4%

Baku. September 23. REPORT.AZ/ State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in the period from January to August 2014 produced 4.964 bln. cubic meters of gas. ort informs referring to SOCAR, compared to the same period last year, gas production increased by 4.3%.

Gas production in Azerbaijan for 8 months of this year amounted to 20.453 bln cubic meters, which is 0.9% less than in January-August 2013.

In August of this year, the company had produced 567.5 mln cubic meters of gas and in the whole Azerbaijan gas production amounted to 2.471 bln cubic meters.

In 2013, SOCAR produced 7.139 bln cubic meters of gas.

In 2013 gas production amounted to 29.45 bln cubic meters in Azerbaijan.
