SOCAR, IFC discuss reducing carbon emissions

Opportunities for cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in the areas of energy transition and carbon emission reduction were discussed, Report informs, citing SOCAR.
At the meeting between SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf and IFC Regional Director for Europe Rana Karadsheh, satisfaction was expressed over the successful development of cooperative relations between IFC and Azerbaijan over the past years and the importance of joint projects implemented in various fields, including financial services, infrastructure, and production, was emphasized.
Also, the sides exchanged opinions on other issues of mutual interest.
