SOCAR ends 2021 with net profit of $1.2B

In 2021, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) increased its profit margin from 10.2% to 11.4%, and its operating profit by 10.3 times to 4.93 billion manats ($2.9 billion), Report informs, citing the company's press service.
Thus, SOCAR ended 2021 with a net profit of 2.12 billion manats ($1.2 billion).
"This is the highest indicator since 2008 when the company's consolidated financial statements began to be prepared," the information says.
