The next countries to which Azerbaijani gas will be transported will be Romania and Bulgaria, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a press conference about the results of 2022.

According to him, the role of Azerbaijan in energy transit has increased this year.

On July 18, Azerbaijan and the European Union (EU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic partnership in the field of energy, which will allow doubling the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Europe in the next five years, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of renewable energy.
