Under existing contracts, as an exception to the oil embargo, which involves the sixth package of EU sanctions against Russia, Hungary and Slovakia are allowed to supply oil from Russia, the source said.
The decision on the sixth package of sanctions against Russia is expected at the end of the week. In particular, it assumes a phased rejection of Russian oil imports.
