Qatar ready to supply LNG to Germany from 2024

Qatar Energy may start supplying LNG to Germany from its US terminal from 2024, deputy prime minister, Foreign Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani told the German newspaper Handelsblatt, Report informs.
He noted that by the specified time, the Golden Pass LNG plant in Texas, where Qatar Energy owns a 70% share, can reach the required capacity.
At the same time, the expansion of gas production at the North Dome field will occur only in 2026, he noted.
