Payments for natural gas in Azerbaijan up 14%

In January-May 2022, the level of payment for gas sold by Azerigaz Production Union was 101.02% (+14.3%), Rashad Javadov, Deputy General Director for Sales of Azerigaz, said at the Open Door event, Report informs.
"The level of payments in the population sector was 99.48%, which is 2% less than in the first five months of last year. The non-population sector was 102.87%, which is 29.9% more than last year," he said.
Javadov said that as of June 1, the number of consumers in the Azerigaz PU reached 2,465,415:
"In particular, there were 2,427,456 subscribers in the population sector and 37,959 subscribers in the non-population sector."
