Parviz Shahbazov: 8 industrial-scale power plants will be commissioned by 2027

8 industrial-scale power plants will be put into operation by 2027 for the decarbonization of the Sangachal terminal, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, said in a meeting with Rick Duke, Deputy Special Envoy for Climate, Office of the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Energy.

Azerbaijan's course to accelerate the green energy transition during the COP29 presidency, Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC), and cooperation with the United States on the green energy corridor were discussed at the meeting.
