Number of bp Azerbaijan employees drops by over 7%

At the end of the first quarter of 2022, the number of Azerbaijani citizens employed by bp Azerbaijan was 2,247, including fixed-term employees, Report informs, citing the company.

According to bp, this is 178 people or 7.34% less than in the first three months of 2021.

As of mid-2018, 90% of bp Azerbaijan's skilled workforce is local. Menial positions are fully taken by Azerbaijani citizens.

bp will continue its efforts to closely participate in public and private sector initiatives to further optimize its training and development programs and further improve the local market for high-level staff.

At the end of the first quarter of 2021, the number of Azerbaijani citizens employed by bp Azerbaijan was 2,425, including employees working on fixed-term contracts.
