New fines for heating to be introduced in Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev has endorsed the Law on Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Law on Electricity.

Report informs that according to the updated Code and the law, from now on, consumers who create obstacles to prevent violations of the requirements of legislation in the field of heating will be fined.

The fine will be 20 manats for individuals, 50 manats for officials, and 100 manats for legal entities.

Previously, this penalty was only applied in the gas and electricity industries.
