The retail price of natural gas sold to consumers in Azerbaijan is not that high, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov told a parliamentary meeting on the state budget for 2024, Report informs.
According to him, the gas limit is a rather complex issue: “A certain gas limit has been set for the socially sensitive population. Within that limit, the price of gas is cheaper. The part above the limit is expensive.”
The minister noted that this is not a simple issue: “We must admit it openly.”
