Lithuania commissions storage batteries for power reserve

The electricity reserve required for stable operation of the system will be provided in Lithuania by powerful storage batteries that have been put into operation, Prime Minister of the Baltic Republic Ingrida Simonyte said at the launch event, Report informs referring to TASS.
“The battery storage system will ensure the safety, stability and continuity of our electrical grid,” she noted.
