Kazakhstan Energy Ministry: EAEU approves single form of oil passport

A single form of oil passport released into circulation on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has been approved, the Energy Ministry of Kazakhstan said, Report informs via Kazakh media.

“By decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated August 29, 2023, 89 changes were made to the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union “On the safety of oil prepared for transportation and (or) use,” the ministry said.

According to the adopted changes: a single form of oil passport released into circulation on the territory of the EAEU and the rules for filling it out were approved; it is stipulated that the frequency of oil testing is established in the standards included in the list of standards for test methods to the technical regulations.

In addition, the new standards will ensure the formation of uniform approaches to the production of oil and its circulation in the EAEU, including in terms of documentation.
