The Kazakh national company KazTransOil has confirmed that it has submitted an application to the Russian Transneft for oil transit to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline for Germany, Report informs referring to the company.
“KazTransOil JSC has sent an application for transportation of 1.2 million tons of Kazakh oil through the system of main oil pipelines of Transneft PJSC in 2023 in the direction of the Adam’s Gate for further delivery to Germany,” the company said.
Earlier, Chairman of the Board of the state company Kazmunaigas (KMG) Magzum Mirzagaliyev, after negotiations with Secretary of State of the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection of Germany Michael Kellner, announced the possibility of a trial shipment of oil to Germany in January 2023.
