Ilham Aliyev: Additional generating capacities to be included in overall energy system in 2023

In 2023, additional generating capacities will be included in the general electric power system of Azerbaijan, and this is only the beginning of work, President Ilham Aliyev said at the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the 230 MW Garadagh Solar PV Plant, which will be built in Azerbaijan by the Masdar company from the UAE, Report informs.

“Since the beginning of this year, very significant steps have been taken in the energy sector. In January, together with the well-known company in this field, ACWA Power of Saudi Arabia, the foundation was laid for a wind farm with a capacity of 240 megawatts,” the head of state said.
