IEA: Azerbaijan falls short of OPEC+ quota by 0.08 million b/d in May

Azerbaijan fell short of its OPEC+ quota by 0.08 million barrels per day (b/d) in May, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
Report informs, citing the agency, that Azerbaijan's oil production stood at 0.47 million b/d in May — up from 0.45 million b/d in April 2025.
The IEA estimates Azerbaijan fell short of its OPEC+ quota by 0.08 million b/d. OPEC previously reported that Azerbaijan's average daily production in May was 0.462 million b/d — 0.089 million b/d below its quota.
At OPEC+'s 37th ministerial meeting, Azerbaijan’s production quota for 2025 was set at 0.551 million b/d.
