Germany might refuse Russian gas in winter

Germany can refuse to import gas from Russia in winter if it can save 210 TWh of electricity, said research conducted by German Economist of the University of Notre Dame, Rüdiger Bachmann, and specialists from the University of Bonn and Munich-based Ifo Institute, Report informs.
Experts have concluded that Germany needs to produce less electricity through gas-fired power plants and reduce household and industrial consumption to meet its target.
