German chancellor to agree on replacement of Russian crude during his Canada visit

German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz plans to discuss the replacement of Russian crude during his visit to Canada.
Report informs, citing Gazeta.ru, that during the trip, the chancellor plans to sign a cooperation agreement between Germany and Canada in the sphere of green hydrogen.
Answering the journalists' questions in Montreal, he said that Canada is rich in natural resources.
“In this way, we open up new areas of cooperation for ourselves,” Scholz told reporters. The parties also plan to discuss the supply of minerals and liquefied natural gas from Canada to Germany.
