Gasoline production drops 10% in Azerbaijan

In January-April 2021, Azerbaijan produced petroleum products worth AZN 1,198,800,000, which is 14% less than a year ago, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, 365,500 tons of gasoline, 776,800 tons of diesel fuel, 17,600 tons of lubricating oil, 67,600 tons of petroleum bitumen were produced.
The gasoline production decreased by 10%, petroleum bitumen – by 14.8%, while diesel and lubricating oil productions respectively rose by 0.6% and 91.3%.
During the first four months, the country produced 137,200 tons of gasoline for the petrochemical industry (+35%), 148,700 tons of kerosene (-20.3%), 21,300 tons of fuel oil (-27.1%), and 87,500 tons of petroleum coke (+13.3%).
