Gas transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline rises

Overall, nearly 17.36 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines during the first five months of 2024, down 3% year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
In January-May 2024, 54.6% of the total gas transportation was carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum (BTE) pipeline.
Consequently, more than 9.47 billion cubic meters of gas were transferred through this pipeline, representing a 2.6-percent increase from the corresponding period of 2023.
