Gas transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline increases by 20%

In January-May 2022, 17,005,200,000 cubic meters of gas were pumped through Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines, 16.3% more than the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

In the total volume of gas pumped through the main gas pipelines, 49.9% or 8,489,500,000 cubic meters were exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline (South Caucasus gas pipeline), up 20.1% from a year earlier.
