Gas production in Azerbaijan up by 3%

In January-May of this year, 20.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced (+3% or 600 million cubic meters) in Azerbaijan, said the operative data of the Ministry of Energy for the months of January-May, Report informs.
5.4 billion cubic meters of gas was produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) field block (-0.4 billion cubic meters or 6.9%), 11.1 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz (+0.5 billion cubic meters or 4.7%). SOCAR produced 3.7 billion cubic meters (+0.5 billion cubic meters or 15.6%) in the reporting period.
