Gas production from Shah Deniz field up by over 16%

In the first three months of 2023, about 7 billion standard cubic meters (bscm) of gas and more than 1 million tonnes (about 9 million barrels) of condensate in total were produced from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms, Report informs, citing bp's 2023 Q1 results.
During the reporting period, the volume of gas production from the Shah Deniz field was 1 billion cubic meters or 16.7% more than the indicator of the same period last year, and the volume of condensate production remained the same.
The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 74 million standard cubic meters of gas per day or approximately 27 bcma.
