Gas prices in Europe rise by 1%

Gas exchange prices in Europe rose by about 1% on Thursday morning, following a 3% increase the day before.
Report informs, citing data from the London-based ICE exchange that September (nearest) futures on the TTF index (Europe’s largest hub, located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $386.9 (+0.7%) per thousand cubic meters. Later, the price reached $389.2 (+1.3%). The dynamics are given relative to the settlement price of the previous trading day – $384.3 per thousand cubic meters.
On Wednesday, gas exchange prices in Europe rose by almost 3%, with the latest futures trading at $388 per thousand cubic meters.
