Gas prices in Europe fall 1.8%

Gas prices in Europe have fallen by an average of 1.8% since the beginning of trading, and are now within $882-893.5 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London Stock Exchange ICE.
July futures on the index of the largest European hub TTF opened trading in the red, costing $882.1 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 2.4% lower than June 10 settlement price of $903.8.
In early March, gas prices in Europe renewed their historical highs for four days in a row due to fears of a ban on the import of Russian energy resources. The price record of $3,892 was reached on March 7, and the estimated price for the day was $2,560.7 per 1,000 cubic meters.
